Stockard R. Hickey III concentrates his practice on litigation matters, including the defense of trucking liability, motor vehicle liability, premises liability and product liability. He represents companies and individuals who have been named as defendants in a variety of claims, including property damage, personal injury and wrongful death.

Mr. Hickey has participated in well over one hundred jury trials and has taught trial practice techniques to other attorneys. In addition to a successful trial practice in state and federal courts, he has successfully argued appeals before the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

In many years of managing and litigating liability claims at every level of exposure, Mr. Hickey has obtained favorable verdicts and advantageous settlements in numerous lawsuits and has resolved many other claims through effective pre-litigation management.
